McDonald’s Monopoly 2009 – Free codes!

Free McDonald’s Monopoly game pieces for everyone! Yes, it is that time again! McDonald’s Monopoly is back and our code-sharing community is ready to go! I will be donating all of my unused McDonald’s Monopoly codes (found on the game stamps) on this page, and if this is anything like last year’s McDonald’s Monopoly page, I will be joined by plenty of other generous folks.

Feel free to discuss the McDonald’s Monopoly program, the prizes, the gameboard, or just stick around and see if you can snag some codes from the folks that like to share them!

It looks like McDonald’s is mixing it up a bit this year and they have included a daily sweepstakes in collaboration with NBC. They are going to do an on-air dice rolling every night on shows like “The Jay Leno” show or Sunday Night Football.

Some quick facts for the 2009 game:

  • Game starts October 6, and ends November 2
  • Online game ends on November 16
  • If you land on Chance, the on-air dice roll is for you! If they roll a double-6 on air, you will receive $1,000,000. All other dice combinations result in a prize of $10,000 for that player.

The rare McDonald’s Monopoly pieces for 2009 are:

  • Mediterranean Avenue: $50
  • Short Line Railroad: $500
  • Vermont Avenue: $1000
  • Virginia Avenue: $2000
  • Tennessee Avenue: $5000
  • Kentucky Avenue: $10,000
  • Ventor Avenue: $25,000
  • Pennsylvania Avenue: $50,000
  • Boardwalk: $1,000,000

Good luck everyone!

Free MyCokeRewards Codes (IX)

MyCokeRewards
Welcome to the best place on the web to snag or share free MyCokeRewards points!

We have a fantastic community here who share their extra MyCokeRewards points, and answer questions about the MyCokeRewards program.  Feel free to discuss anything related to MyCokeRewards: the prizes, the sweepstakes, or just share your best code-gathering technique!

To get the most Coke Codes out of this site, you’ll need to watch it regularly. I suggest setting it as your homepage. That way, every time you get online you can do a quick check in the comments to see who is sharing.

As mentioned, this is the 9th post in a series of MyCokeRewards posts that have gone on over the last five years. The archived posts are goldmines of information about the program. If you’d like to check them out, here they are:

If you’d like to trade or sell codes, please use the Code Trading Page. Or visit this page to beg for MyCokeRewards codes (or whatever else you feel like begging for).

Some quick easy rules for participating here:

  • If you use a code, please leave a quick comment indicating such. A simple “Thank-you” or “RBM” (redeemed by me) goes a long way in saving everyone from trying the same codes over and over. It also encourages our generous donators to post more often!
  • Comments are held for moderation before they are posted. While we have a very friendly atmosphere here, I keep the moderation pretty strict. It boils down to this: If your comment does not contribute meaningful content to the discussion of MyCokeRewards, it isn’t going to show up. Begging or trading requests will also not show here (see above).
  • If you’re asking a question, be sure to check the MCR FAQ page to see if it has already been answered

Now, lets collectively cross our fingers and hope that CocaCola continues this awesome program into 2010! We’ve been pretty lucky with extensions so far!

MyCokeRewards FAQ

MyCokeRewards
What is MyCokeRewards (or MCR)?
MyCokeRewards is a customer loyalty program that Coke has had running for almost 5 years now. You find codes on the caps of their products, or on the inside of the cases of products. Using that code, you can earn points on the MyCokRewards website and spend the points on prizes or sweepstakes.

I hate the MyCokeRewards website. Is there another way to enter codes?
Yes. You can text the code to COKE (2653). Some folks call this the “Alternate entry method.”

When does MyCokeRewards end?
MCR is currently scheduled to end on Dec 31, 2009. There is plenty of speculation that will, however, extend it once again for another year.

What are double points days? When is the next double points day? MCR has, in the past, had days where some or all codes entered count for double their point value! There hasn’t been one for a while, but just watch this site, and if there is one coming, you’ll see it here.

What does “banking codes” mean?
On MCR, you can bank your points away for sweepstakes so that you can just log in and play them without having to enter them all in on the spot.

How do I bank codes on MyCokeRewards sweepstakes?
Once logged in to MyCokeRewards, click on “instant win” and you will see both games. Each one has its own set of rules, so click on “see instant rules for details” which is right under the red font. Then, scroll down to 5b and use the “alternate method of entry”. Click on the words “click here” from the 3rd line of info. Do the “security key” (aka captcha). Now, to bank choose “no thanks, not now”. (thanks, Cyn!)

What’s an EDO card?
An EDO card is a reloadable pre-paid credit card that can be used anywhere Visa or Mastercard is accepted. It is also one of the prizes you can get from MyCokeRewards

Why is it that every time I try a code on from Asdfhj.com, it says it has already been used?
Because somebody already used it. The codes are 1 time only, so the only way to use the codes is to check Asdfhj.com often and be the first to see it and use it!

What does RBM mean? What does RNBM mean?
“Redeemed by me” and “Redeemed not by me”

Why don’t my comments show up on this site?
Comments are moderated by me before they show up on the site. This is to keep the thousands of people begging for codes or spamming from cluttering up the discussions. If your comments don’t ever show up, it is probably because your comment didn’t add anything to the conversation of MyCokeRewards. This is a very relaxed forum, but please don’t beg for codes (unless you’re on the beggars page). Once in a while, a comment gets stuck in my spam filter. If you feel this was the case, just send in another comment and I will check it out.

How do I get the gift cards from Asdfhj.com?
Either provide lots of helpful answers to folks on this site, or be a generous donor of codes. We send out gift cards of varying amounts to folks that really contribute to Asdfhj.com. If you want a guaranteed win from your MyCokeRewards codes, this is the only way!

How do people get so many codes?
A few different ways:

  • Look for them at recycling centers or the recycling area at a supermarket
  • Look for them at sports events (in the trash)
  • Make sure your entire family knows you collect them and have them email the codes to you
  • Get to know the vending machine guy at your workplace. They usually have access to lots of flaps.
  • Set Asdfhj.com as your homepage. Watch it regularly!

Free Pepsi Codes – Pepsi Rock Band 2009

Pepsi Rock Band
Pepsi launched a new program today: Pepsi Rock Band. On this page, you will find useful chatter about the program, and folks sharing unused codes. If you want to see what I mean, check out the MyCokeRewards give-away page to see just how generous some people are here. I will begin giving away any codes that I come across, and hopefully a few others will follow suit. Also, if you win something from Pepsi, post it! Everyone likes hearing what other people have won!

Here is some info/FAQ about the new program:
When does the Pepsi Rock band promotion end?
The promotion starts today (June 2) and ends on July 28th.

Where do I get Pepsi codes?
The 12-character codes can be found on the underside of the caps on 20oz and 1L bottles. The caps are yellow. You can also find codes on 32oz and 44oz fountain cups. You can also check this site to see if anyone is sharing their unused codes!

What could I win?
For the instant win game, you could win a Rock Band 2 Special Edition bundle, or a downloadable track. For the weekly sweeps, there are few different prizes, including: XBox 360 console, $25 gift card, a trip to a Harrah’s casino/hotel, Rock Band Bandmate, and a MinoHD Flip Video Camcorder.

Yes! You can text codes to PEPSI (73774)

Where can I trade codes (MyCokeRewards for Pepsi codes, etc)?
You can do that on the trading page.

What if I just want to beg for Pepsi codes?
Please don’t do it here. Instead, go to the Begging page to join your fellow beggars!

Free Subway Codes – Land of the Lost

Subway Land of the Lost
Subway Fresh Buzz is at it again with their new promotional Scabble game going on. I have quite a few extra codes around, and I’m not playing this year, so here are some free Subway Scrabble Letters for those who actually play Freshbuzz Land of the Lost!

This year, some prizes include cash, Southwest airline tickets, gift cards, and movie tickets. The promo ends on 7/5/2009, so get to it!

Good luck! If you don’t need the letter that you have, I encourage you to post them here, and share with others. If you used a code that was posted, please be kind enough to say thank you, so that many people aren’t trying the same code over and over.

Here’s one to start out with, more to come:

MyCokeRewards limits code entries even further

MyCokeRewards
Much to the dismay of many MyCokeRewards point collectors, Coke has now implemented a new limit on point entries per week, thinly veiled as an “improvement”. Before this change, collectors of the Coke codes were able to enter up to 10 codes a day. This means that 700 points per week could have been entered.

Not any more. With these changes in the program, only 120 points per week are accepted. My heart goes out to those folks that have been stock piling 10-point codes. Here is a copy of the email I just received from Coke:

No more Daily Code Limits!

Starting on February 16th, there’s something refreshingly new at My Coke Rewards. The 10 code entries-per-day limit is gone. Now you can enter your codes when you want — up to 120 points per week.*

And with the new Weekly Points Tracking Tool it’s easy to see how many points you’ve already entered and how many more points you can still earn for the week.
*Bonus Point offers are not included in the 120 point weekly limit.

If you are one of the unlucky ones with more points than you can now possibly ever enter, consider sharing them on the current MyCokeRewards Giveaway Page. We have a great community of folks that love sharing, collecting and trading Coke codes.

Free McDonald’s Monopoly codes

I eat more McDonald’s than I probably should, but I don’t use these Monopoly codes. I plan on posting the codes here as I get them. I foresee this also turning into a discussion about the contest, the prizes, the odds of winning, and other methods of collecting the Monopoly codes.

And if this turns out anything like previous posts of similar nature, there will be plenty of generous folks to help in the sharing in no time! Off to Mickey D’s to get my first round of Monopoly codes! The game ends on 11/17/08, so you better get going too!
