About a month ago I purchased Microsoft Streets and Trips
This software included a GPS reciever! Very cool. Out of the box, I had a few installation problems, but after a few tries, I had it up and running just fine. The GPS locks on very fast. Much faster than my old Garmin.
The talking directions are very handy, along with the progress bar that fills across the bottom of the screen. Without even looking directly at the laptop, I can tell how much further I have on each segment.
I also found out you can update the maps with construction information, although I haven’t had a chance to use that yet.
Overall, I would highly recommend this GPS if you are used to traveling with a laptop like I am.
